Everything you need to know about how Roxity works, what we cost, and what to expect.
How It Works
What exactly is a fractional in-house creative department?
It means we function like your internal creative team — embedded in your workflow, familiar with your brand, handling day-to-day creative needs — but without the cost or complexity of hiring full-time employees. You get senior talent, on a retainer, that shows up consistently every month.
How is Roxity different from a traditional agency?
Agencies pitch projects, charge markups, assign junior staff, and start from scratch every engagement. We embed into your team, learn your brand deeply, and handle the ongoing creative demands that keep your marketing moving. No account managers. No re-briefing. No surprises.
How is Roxity different from hiring a freelancer?
Freelancers are specialists — good for one-off tasks. Roxity is a full creative team: designers, writers, creative directors, motion artists, and web developers all under one roof. You get strategic leadership, consistent execution, and a team that grows with you.
What does the onboarding process look like?
We start with a discovery call to understand your brand, goals, and creative needs. Then we select the right team members for your account, conduct a thorough brand immersion, and establish your workflow — usually within one week. After that, you submit requests and we deliver.
Pricing & Retainers
How does retainer pricing work?
You pay a flat monthly fee based on your creative volume and the scope of services you need. There are no hourly rates, no project markups, and no surprise invoices. Your retainer covers everything within your agreed scope — as many requests as you need, handled in priority order.
What happens if I need more support than my retainer covers?
We get it — some months are busier than others. If your workload exceeds your retainer, we’ll scope the additional work and handle it seamlessly, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Do you offer project-based pricing?
Our primary model is retainer-based — it’s what allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality work efficiently. However, for large one-time projects (a full rebrand, a website build, a broadcast package) we can discuss project pricing. Reach out and we’ll find the right structure.
Working Together
How do I submit creative requests?
We keep it simple. Most clients use a shared project management tool (we adapt to what you already use — Slack, Notion, Asana, email — whatever works). You submit a request, we ask clarifying questions if needed, and get to work. No complicated intake forms.
What's your typical turnaround time?
Turnaround times vary depending on the scope of work. Standard design requests are typically delivered within a few business days, while larger projects — brand systems, campaign builds, more complex designs — are scoped with a custom timeline up front. Quality work takes the time it deserves.
Who will actually be working on my brand?
Senior creatives only — always. We don’t use junior designers or outsource overseas. Your account is handled by experienced professionals with decades of real-world brand and design experience. You’ll know who’s on your team.
Do you work with companies outside the US?
Yes. We work with brands globally. As long as we can establish clear communication and workflow, geography is no barrier. We’re comfortable working across time zones and have done so with clients across North America, Europe, and beyond.
What industries do you specialize in?
We’ve worked across virtually every category — consumer goods, hospitality, technology, healthcare, entertainment, real estate, food & beverage, and more. Our strength is adapting to any brand and industry quickly, thanks to our senior team’s breadth of experience.
